The watch :
The open-heart and fisheye models of the AVL models have captured the heart of photography and videography enthusiasts. Today, TACS takes inspiration from the iconic twin-lens reflex camera and its rich history to create Automatic Twin Lens. This new watch, available in two colors, Gold and Silver, deploys a dual-lens dial packed with iconic camera details and features, all housed in a 46.5mm case that's 14.8mm thick. As usual, TACS has its logo engraved on the screw-down crown.
The dial :
TACS takes every distinctive aspect of the vintage twin lens camera into consideration throughout the design process of the new Automatic Twin Lens for a clear and distinctive result. The eye-catching dial features 2 domed lenses and leather, as does the iconic front of the dual-lens camera. The depth of field scale has been finely incorporated in the form of hours and minutes, showing the 8, 9, 10 hour markers and the 15-23, 41-44 and 46-49 minute markers. The tip of the seconds hand takes the shape of the camera shutter button. For better readability, the 3 hands are partially treated to make them luminescent.
Movement :
The transparent double lens reveals the 21 jewels of the Miyota 8N24 skeleton automatic movement, also handcrafted in Japan. This movement has a 42-hour power reserve and a 21600 oscillation per hour. It will have an accuracy of -20 to + 40 seconds per day. This creation incorporates all the Japanese know-how inside and out.
The bracelet :
The brown leather strap of this timepiece is made by the famous tanner Horween. Adorned with white stitching that provides contrast, this leather strap is very flexible and comfortable. It closes with a brushed-finish stainless steel pin buckle. Thanks to its 24-millimeter lug, it will easily adapt to the male wrist with a maximum circumference of 145 mm for the leather strap and 205 mm for the metal strap. The watch strap is equipped with an integrated spring pump (also known as a flash pump or rapid pump) to allow a quick and easy exchange.
Sealing:
This timepiece has a water resistance of 100m or 10ATM in watchmaking parlance, provided the crown is properly closed and screwed down. Your watch will accompany you everywhere even in the most humid environments, you can wash your hands, swim, take your shower and your bath. On the other hand, the leather strap will experience premature wear if you bathe it. Our team recommends that you leave your watch dry to preserve the precision and quality of the mechanism.
