The watch
Tacs has the vision of creating timepieces that transcribe unique ideas, transforming them into an innovative design while remaining functional. SOODA is the perfect illustration of this. The two sun subdials will remind us of the eyes of a panda from which it takes its name, SOlaire and panDA, or SOODA, the 2 O's to again recall eyes. Its square cambered case in polished 316L steel measures 38 millimeters in diameter and will dress both men and women. A curved K1 glass will cover the case. The crown stem is placed at 6 o'clock, where you will find the TACS logo. The back of the polished case is screwed, you will find engraved the name, reference and logo of the watchmaking company.
The dial
The watch features two sub-dials on its dial that mimic a panda's endearing eyes that double as solar cells providing a solid 90 days of power reserve. These solar cells harness sunlight to power the watch, reflecting a seamless integration of form and function.
One of these solar cells also serves as a battery indicator, while the other is a 24-hour dial, adding a practical touch to the aesthetic design. A strategically positioned date display at 6 o'clock further adds to the functional features of the watch.
The dial is luminescent so you don't lose track of time even at night.
Movement
Offered with a finished case with a thickness of 12.6 mm, the caliber VS57, a Japanese solar movement with battery indicator, comes to animate this timepiece. Operating time is approximately 90 days without solar charging
The Strap
SOODA is completed with an Italian vegan leather strap, bearing the “Pelle Conciata” label. The label testifies to the fact that the bracelet comes from Italian tanneries that operate in full compliance with established standards for vegetable tanning. The buckle is 316L stainless steel with a pin.
Waterproofing
This timepiece has a water resistance of 50 m or 5 ATM in watchmaking language. this timepiece which does not fear water but does not wish to be placed in prolonged contact with it. You can afford to take a shower from time to time but to maintain the quality and precision of the mechanism, we advise you to keep it far from the swimming pool, the sea and to avoid bathing. More precisely, no prolonged contact/immersion. Please note, the leather strap is not waterproof and risks premature wear.
